Costume Guidelines:

Tulsa Pop Culture Expo is a family friendly event. If your costume is too revealing or deemed offensive, you may be asked to change.

  • Costumes must cover at least as much as a swimsuit that is acceptable for public areas. Females must cover the nipple, sides of the breast, entire groin area, and complete buttocks. Males must cover the entire groin area and the complete buttocks.
  • Body paint and nudity are NOT costumes and are prohibited from convention premises.
  • Shoes are required to be worn while in convention space. You may remove your shoes for photos if desired, but they must be replaced directly after the photo is taken.
  • If your costume is oversized, or contains a large prop, please be aware of your surroundings and of people around you. You may be asked to change your costume or remove your prop from the convention space if it is found to be disruptive or dangerous.
  • Please do not block doorways, walkways, or exits with your costume, props, or costume pieces.
